Shipments from 1С/BAS go to Ukrposhta without retyping, and the label and delivery status come back into the same documents

The shipment is prepared in 1С/BAS, but the Ukrposhta parcel is filled in separately: recipient, address, phone, weight. We connect the two so a shipping document in 1С/BAS sends the parcel data to Ukrposhta, the calculated delivery cost and the label come back into the document, and delivery statuses update in 1С/BAS on a schedule until the parcel is received or returned.

What moves between the systems

1С/BAS → УкрпоштаA shipping document posted in 1С/BAS sends the parcel data to Ukrposhta: recipient, address, phone, weight and dimensions taken from the document.
Укрпошта → 1С/BASUkrposhta calculates the delivery cost and generates the shipping label; both come back into the 1С/BAS document, and the warehouse prints the label and attaches it to the parcel.

What we connect

We look at your 1С/BAS configuration and which document starts a shipment: a sales document, a shipping order or a separate delivery record.
You sign a contract with Ukrposhta; your personal account manager there issues the access details, and a separate key for status tracking. We help you prepare the request.
We map the 1С/BAS fields to the Ukrposhta parcel: recipient, address, phone, weight and dimensions, and where each value comes from when the document does not have it.
We set up sending the parcel from 1С/BAS and writing the delivery cost and label back into the document, and agree how the warehouse prints and attaches labels.
We set up the status refresh schedule and agree which status closes the sale and which one starts a return.
We run several real parcels through the whole path from 1С/BAS to delivery, then hand the process over to the warehouse and stay on call for the first weeks.

Parcels typed by hand

Before for every parcel the warehouse copies the recipient and address from the 1С/BAS document into Ukrposhta, and one typo sends the parcel astray.

After the parcel data goes from the document, and the label comes back to it.

Addresses Ukrposhta cannot process

Before an address written the way the customer typed it comes back with questions, and the parcel waits.

After the address is checked against the Ukrposhta directory before sending, and the manager fixes it in 1С/BAS right away.

Nobody knows what was delivered

Before to close a sale the accountant checks each tracking number on the Ukrposhta site.

After the status arrives in 1С/BAS on a schedule, and the sale closes when the parcel is delivered.

Parcels scattered across two places

Before some parcels are made in the Ukrposhta online account, some elsewhere, and nobody has the full list.

After parcels start from 1С/BAS, and the ones created in the online account are kept as a clearly separate exception.

How it works technically

According to the same documentation, the platform automatically builds a REST interface using the OData protocol, through which outside systems can read, change, create and delete data over HTTP.

To send a parcel through the connection, the shipment details go into the client's own record-keeping system first; Ukrposhta's side then calculates the cost and generates the shipping label, which still needs to be printed and attached by hand.

Limits

The limits come from both systems. Ukrposhta issues access only after a contract is signed, through your personal account manager, not by instant sign-up, and status tracking needs its own separate key from the same manager. The shipping label is generated by Ukrposhta but still has to be printed and attached by hand. Parcels created in the Ukrposhta online account can be retrieved only through that account, so they do not appear in 1С/BAS. Statuses are refreshed on a schedule that we agree. 1С/BAS is on the official prohibited software list: we do not take projects for state bodies, critical infrastructure or systems with state data, and with private businesses we discuss the risk openly.

Questions

Can we start without a contract with Ukrposhta?

No. Ukrposhta issues access only after a contract, through your personal account manager. We prepare the 1С/BAS side meanwhile and connect as soon as the access details arrive.

Does the warehouse still print labels?

Yes. The label comes into 1С/BAS ready, but it is printed and attached by hand. What disappears is retyping the recipient and address.

What about parcels we already made in the Ukrposhta online account?

They stay in that account: Ukrposhta returns them only through it. That is why we agree to start new parcels from 1С/BAS, so every shipment is visible in one place.

What if the recipient's data in 1С/BAS is incomplete?

The parcel is not sent, and the document shows what is missing: an address, a phone, a weight. The manager fills the gap in 1С/BAS and posts again. We agree the required fields before launch.
