Salesforce integration & automation

Enterprise CRM with a live event feed and no-code automation across every record type

Salesforce keeps every kind of business record reachable from outside its own screens, so another tool can read or change the same data instead of a person retyping it. We set the account up, secure the connection so only the right tool can reach in, and build automatic steps and real-time alerts that route into the systems you already run.

What we connect

  • Records — contacts, deals, custom data — become reachable from outside Salesforce's own screens, so another tool can read or update them without a person retyping anything.
  • A secure sign-in step for every outside tool, so access to one connected system can be switched off without touching any of the others.
  • A live event feed (Platform Events) that pushes a message the instant something worth knowing happens, instead of another system asking over and over — available on Performance, Unlimited, Enterprise and Developer editions.
  • A no-code way to chain automatic steps across any record type (Salesforce Flow) — updating a field, sending a notification, or starting something in a connected tool.
  • Built-in calling (Open CTI) still works today, but Salesforce is retiring it in February 2028 and is steering new projects toward its newer calling product, Salesforce Voice, instead — worth knowing before building a call flow on the old one.
  • A single marketplace for ready-made add-ons, AgentExchange (the renamed, merged AppExchange and Slack marketplace), is the first place we check before building a custom bridge.

Automation scenarios

01

Another system needs Salesforce data without opening Salesforce

Before someone exports a spreadsheet by hand and re-uploads it elsewhere.

After the connected system reads and writes the same records directly, with no manual export step.

02

A deal changes stage and three other tools need to know

Before each tool checks Salesforce on a timer and can miss a change for minutes.

After on eligible editions, Platform Events push the change out the instant it happens.

03

A sales process must run the same way every time

Before someone rebuilds and rechecks the chain of steps by hand each time a deal moves forward.

After Salesforce Flow runs the whole chain automatically the moment that step happens.

04

A team is planning phone integration for the year ahead

Before a new call flow gets built on Salesforce's classic Open CTI without knowing its future.

After we point new projects at Salesforce Voice, since Open CTI is being retired in February 2028.

How it works technically

For those who want to check: each point links to the official documentation page it comes from.

  • REST API gives programmatic access to Salesforce records, metadata and search without using the Salesforce interface itself.

  • Access is authorised through OAuth 2.0 via a Connected App or External Client App; since Spring '26, creating new Connected Apps is restricted and Salesforce recommends External Client Apps instead (existing Connected Apps keep working).

  • Platform Events are secure, scalable messages published by Salesforce and received by subscribers in real time — Salesforce's built-in equivalent of a webhook.

Limits

A free Developer Edition org is capped at 15,000 API calls a day — enough to build and test, too little for live high-traffic use. Paid editions calculate a higher daily ceiling from a base allowance plus an amount per user licence. No more than 25 long-running API requests (20 seconds or more) can run at the same time per production org. Platform Events, the real-time event feed, is only available on Performance, Unlimited, Enterprise and Developer editions.

How to start

Three steps from a first message to work on your project.

  1. 01

    Leave a request

Describe the task in the form — in text or by voice. Budget and timing are optional.

  2. 02

    We review and estimate

A developer studies the brief, asks about anything unclear and sends an estimate.

  3. 03

    We start

Once scope and price are agreed, the work begins.

Questions

Can any Salesforce plan get real-time alerts through Platform Events?
No — only Performance, Unlimited, Enterprise and Developer editions include it. On other editions we check for changes a different way.
Should we build new calling features on Salesforce's classic phone integration?
No. Open CTI is being retired in February 2028, and Salesforce itself recommends pointing new work at Salesforce Voice instead.
How much data can a free Developer org handle?
15,000 calls a day — fine for building and testing an integration, too little for live traffic. A paid edition raises that ceiling.
Is AppExchange still the place to look for ready add-ons?
Same marketplace, new name — AgentExchange — now merged with the Slack marketplace too.
